نگاهی به تصحیح تاریخ بیهق: (دکتر سلمان ساکت، میراث مکتوب، 1400)

    The book  "Tārīkh-e Beyhaq", "History of Beyhaq" written by ‘Abul Ḥasan Ali bin Zayd Beyhaqī is one of the important sources of urban historiography, which is dedicated to the historical geography of Beyhaq and is considered among the oldest local history books in the Persian language. The main part of this book is dedicated to the introduction of great scholars of science, literature, and politics who are related to the city of Beyhaq and its prominent families, including Sadat (the Prophet's descendants). The history of Beyhaq has a special place compared to other local histories, because on the one hand, it contains the biographies of notables and religious scholars, and on the other hand, it gives information about the poets and writers of Beyhaq region. It has also provided valuable and sometimes unique information about statesmen, jurists, doctors, astrologers, and mathematicians of this region, as well as schools, libraries, monasteries, neighborhoods, and villages related to Beyhaq city.     The importance of this work has caused renowned professors such as Ahmad Bahmanyar and Seyed Kalimullah Hosseini Qāri to edit and publish it, and Professor Yusuf Al-Hadi translated it into Arabic and have it published. At the end of 1400, a new edition of this work was published by the efforts of Salman Sākit, a faculty member of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, which has significant advantages compared to the previous two editions. In this essay, the features of the new edition are reviewed and suggestions are presented to complete the work.  .

کتاب تاریخ بیهق تالیف ابوالحسن علی بن زید بیهقی یکی از منابع مهم تاریخ‌نگاری شهری است که موضوع آن به جغرافیای تاریخی بیهق اختصاص دارد و در زمرۀ کهن‌ترین کتابهای تاریخ محلی به زبان فارسی به شمار می‌رود. بخش عمدۀ این کتاب منحصر است به معرفی بزرگان علم و ادب و سیاست که به شهر بیهق و خاندانهای برجستۀ آن از جمله سادات منسوبند. تاریخ بیهق در مقایسه با دیگر تاریخهای محلی جایگاه ویژه‌ای دارد چرا که از یک سو شرح حال نامداران و علمای دینی را در بر دارد و از سوی دیگر تذکره‌ای است دربارۀ شاعران و ادیبان ناحیۀ بیهق. همچنین آگاهیهای ارزشمند و گاه منحصر به فردی دربارۀ دولتمردان و فقیهان و طبیبان و منجمان و ریاضیدانان این منطقه و نیز مدارس، کتابخانه‎‌ها، خانقاهها، محله‌ها و روستاهای وابسته به شهر بیهق ارائه داده است.    اهمیّت این اثر سبب شده است تا استادان بنامی همچون احمد بهمنیار و سیّد کلیم‌الله حسینی قاری آن را تصحیح و منتشر کنند و استاد یوسف الهادی آن را به عربی ترجمه و به دست انتشار بسپارد. در اواخر سال 1400 تصحیح جدیدی از این اثر به کوشش سلمان ساکت، عضو هیات علمی دانشگاه فردوسی مشهد عرضه شده که نسبت به دو تصحیح پیشین مزیتهای قابل توجهی دارد. در این جستار ویژگیهای تصحیح جدید بررسی و پیشنهادهایی در جهت تکمیل کار ارائه شده است.  .
