دربارۀ فرهنگ و زبان قومِ لک (1): لَکی و کُردی

The purpose of this essay is to re-examine the set of traditional opinions that were presented by David Neil MacKenzie, regarding the phonetic changes that are considered the basic distinguishing features of various Kurdish dialects, taking into account the assumption that the continuity and connection [dialectal chains] of Laki dialect in Iranian dialectology is still uncovered.  It is customary to consider Laki as a dialect of the Kurdish [dialect family], sometimes as a transitional dialect between Kurdish and Lori, and in some cases it is exclusively considered a separate language.

مقصود این فصل بازکاویدن مجموعۀ آرای سنتی است که توسط دیوید نیل مکنزی، دربارۀ تغییرات آوایی که به مثابۀ مختصۀ اساسی تمایزبخش گویش‌های گونه‌گون کُردی تعریف گشته‌اند، با در نظر آوردن این فرض که پیوستگی و ارتباط [زنجیره‌های گویشی] لکی در گویش‌شناسی ایرانی، کماکان بر ما پوشیده مانده است. مرسوم آن باشد که لکی را گویشی از [خانوادۀ گویش‌های] کُردی، بعضاً گویشی انتقالی میان کُردی و لری و در مواردی منحصراً آن‌را یک زبان مجزا می‌پندارند.
