در این مقاله که در قالبِ مُراسله نگارش یافته است، ابهامِ پیوندِ درونیِ حکایتِ سی‌وهفتم از بابِ دومِ گلستان موردِ بحث قرار گرفته و ربطِ منطقیِ حکایتی طنزآمیز که در دلِ این حکایت آمده با محتوای کلّیِ حکایت روشن گردیده و توضیح داده شده است که موضوعِ سخنِ زنِ مازحه و مردِ نابینا با گفت‌وگویِ فقیه و پدرش چه نسبتی دارد. در کنارِ آن، بعضِ دیگر اجزایِ حکایتِ اصلی نیز از حیثِ لغوی تبیین شده است.
