Divān an-Nathr al-Arabi (The Collectionof Arabic Prose) by Adunīs is a selection of Arabicproses which was published in four volumes bySyria Dār a Bidāyāt publication in 2012. In the introductionto the book, Adunīs is going to explainin detail about the basic writing of the Qur’an andits significant influence on the Islamic culture, i.e.about the formation of the Islamic Renaissance inthe fourth century. This book is going to deal witha serious reading of the history of the Islamic cultureand its main source that is the Qur’an. It alsodiscusses some of the Qur’an new manifestations,and believes that prose has played a valuable rolein promoting the Arabic culture. The author of thebook brings up three important points: finding theunknowns, freedom of experiencing, and freedomof expression. The present article has tried to providea report of the mentioned book.

کتاب دیوان النثر العربی تألیف ادونیس، منتخبی از نثر عربی است که در چهار جلد توسط انتشارات دار بدایات سوریه در سال 2012 به زیور طبع آراسته شده است. ادونیس در مقدمه کتاب به تبیین دقیقه نوشتار بنیادی قرآن در فرهنگ اسلامی و تأثیر مهم آن در این فرهنگ؛ یعنی شکل گیری رنسانس اسلامی در سده چهارم هجری می پردازد. وی در این اثر به خوانش جدی تاریخ فرهنگ اسلامی و سرچشمه اصلی آن یعنی قرآن و برخی جلوه های جدید آن پرداخته و سهم ارزنده ای برای نثر در اعتلای فرهنگ عربی قائل است. ایشان به سه نکته مهم: جستجوی ناشناخته، آزادی تجربه و آزادی بیان توجه دارد. نگارنده در نوشتار حاضر سعی در بررسی و معرفی کتاب مذکور دارد.
