امیدوار، یک بَحثِ لُغَوی به بهانۀ بیْتی از سَعدی

The word Omīdvār (hopeful) is one of the common vocabulary of Persian language, but not all of its applications, i.e. some of the word’s applications are not apparent at the first glance. In the following paper, the author tries to examine one of the application of this word in one of Sa’di’s verse. He is also going to talk about the application of the word Omīdvār (hopeful) with the meaning of what one hopesfor in some other old texts as well as Ferdowsi’s Shaāhnāme. .

واژه امیدوار از واژگان پرکاربرد زبان فارسی است؛ لیک نه در همه کاربردهایش. یعنی پاره ای از کاربردهای این واژه وجود دارد که در نخستین نگاه هویدا نمی شود. نویسنده در نوشتار حاضر می کوشد یکی از کاربردهای واژه امیدوار را در بیتی از سعدی شیرازی مورد دقت نظر قرار دهد. همچنین، کاربرد واژه امیدوار را در معنای مرجوّ در بعضی از دیگر متون قدیم و شاهنامه فردوسی متذکر می شود.
