"Acting in the Garden of Iranian Identity; Hafez's "Role Model" by Dr. Farhang Rajaei, a professor at Carlton University in Canada, is a book about Hafez, the main concern of the author is "Iranian acting and their rules" throughout history, and why Iranians with a great civilization and entering the age of Safavid civilization was left out of acting and role-playing in the world arena, and instead remained on the margins of history. The question is: whether it is possible to prepare Iran and Iranians to enter the modern world and create a new world by modeling the foundation of Hafez's thought and intellectual system, and that this system can be used as a successful guide for the acting and role-playing of Iranians? In this article, some of the views of the author of this book about Hafez and his leadership and the answers to the questions raised as well as some reasons for the lack of Iranian role-playing are discussed.      .

«بازیگری در باغِ هویت ایرانی؛ سرنمونی حافظ» تازه­ترین نگاشتۀ آقای دکتر فرهنگ رجایی استاد دانشگاه کارلتون کانادا، دربارۀ حافظ است که دغدغۀ اصلی نگارندۀ آن «بازیگریِ ایرانیان و قواعد بازی آن» در طول تاریخ است و اینکه چرا ایرانیان با داشتن تمدنی بزرگ و ورود به عصر تمدن­سازِ صفوی، از بازیگری و نقش­آفرینی در عرصۀ جهانی بازماندند و به جایِ آن با هوراکشی، نظاره­گری، مصرف­کنندگی، و برهم­زنندگی در حاشیۀ تاریخ ماندند و اینک آیا می­توان با الگو قراردادن بنیان اندیشه و نظام فکری حافظ، ایران و ایرانی را برای ورود به دنیای مدرن و خلق جهانی نو آماده کرد و اینکه می­توان این نظام را به عنوان سرنمونی موفق برای بازیگری و نقش­آفرینی ایران­شهریان عرضه کرد؟ در این مقاله به برخی از دیدگاه­های مؤلف این کتاب دربارۀ حافظ و سرنمونی وی و پاسخ به پرسش­های مطرح­شده و نیز برخی دلایل نقش­ناآفرینی ایرانیان پرداخته شده است.    .
