نوشتگان (۱۱)

In the eleventh issue of the Neveshtegān series, we first present evidence from an ancient translated Quran manuscript, an early exegetical translation of the Book of Ezekiel in Hebrew script, and some Neo-Persian Zoroastrian texts. These sources indicate that the Middle Persian verb wičārdan, meaning "to separate," has survived into New Persian but has not been recorded in lexicons. The study also explores the semantic evolution of this verb and phonetic transformations in the attested forms. The second section focuses on the adjectival/demonstrative pronoun im and its rare remnants in early writings, along with an analysis of its survival in modern Iranian languages.

در شمارۀ یازدهم سلسله مقالات «نوشتگان»، نخست شواهدی از یک نسخۀ کهن قرآن مترجَم و ترجمه-تفسیری قدیم از کتاب حزقیال به‌خطّ عبری و نیز از آثار زرتشتی فارسی نو نقل کرده‌ایم که نشان می‌دهد wičārdan فارسی میانه در معنای اصل آن یعنی «جدا کردن» به فارسی نو رسیده‌است امّا در فرهنگ‌ها ضبط نشده شده‌است. دربارۀ تحوّلات معنایی این فعل و تبدیل‌هایی آوایی صورت‌های نقل‌شده نیز توضیح داده شده‌است. بخش دیگر مربوط است به صفت / ضمیر اشارۀ im و بازمانده‌های نامعمول آن در نوشته‌های قدیم و توضیحی دربارۀ بقایای آن در زبان‌های ایرانی نو.
