نگاهی به آثار عبدالعلی بیرجندی و گزارشی از نسخ خطی موجود از آنها در کتابخانه های ایران

FāzelBirjandi,an accomplishedmathematician, astronomer, andcommentator of astronomical works, has been skillful in themost importantbranchesofscience. Those of his works which nowadays are available for us can be categorized into two groups: firstly, the ones which were written by him; and secondly, the ones in which he explained about the previous scholars’ works. In the present article, the author intends to provide a report of FāzelBirjandi’s works; therefore, he, first of all, talks about his well-known Persian, and Arabic works. Following this, he tries to classify Birjandi’s works into groups of astronomy andastrology, geography, agriculture, logic, supplication andQuranic Sciences, mathematics, FÏqh (jurisprudence), and horoscope. Besides, he also classifies his works according to the type of writing including his own writing, his commentary on other works, and his translation of other works. Then, the author talks about the works attributed to Birjandy as well as the manuscripts of his works scattered in various libraries. In the last art, he is going to provide a list of the works in Birjandi’s handwriting which are available, and the ones which have been published. .

فاضل بیرجندی، ریاضی دان، ستاره شناس و شارح آثار نجومی، در اهم شاخه های علوم اسلامی تبحر داشته است. آنچه امروز از آثار این دانشمند در دست می باشد را در دو عنوان می توان دسته بندی نمود: نخست آثاری که خود وی به تألیف آن ها پرداخته و دوم آثاری که در آن به شرح آثار پیشینیان مبادرت کرده است. نویسنده در نوشتار حاضر در راستای معرفی آثار فاضل بیرجندی، ابتدا آثار فارسی و عربی شناخته شده وی را بیان می دارد. در ادامه به موضوع بندی آثار بیرجندی در موضوعات نجوم و احکام نجوم، جغرافیا، کشاورزی، منطق، علوم قرآنی و ادعیه، ریاضی، صرف، فقه و طالع بینی مبادرت ورزیده است. بعلاوه طبقه بندی آثار بیرجندی بر حسب نوع تألیف شامل تألیفات، شروح و ترجمه ها و آثار منسوب و نیز پراکندگی نسخ خطی آثار وی در کتابخانه های مختلف، از دیگر مطالب مندرج در نوشته حاضر است. نویسنده در نهایت، نوشتار خود را با ارائه فهرستی از آثار موجود از بیرجندی به خط خود وی و برخی آثار چاپ شده اش، به پایان می رساند.
