مروری بر روش تحلیل محتوا

Content analysis is a technique for achieving various features of a message, views and ideas of the sender of the message, causes, and effects of sending the message. In fact, this method is used to have an objective and regular analysis of the messages which are exchanged through various ways. In the present study, the author  has a brief look at the content analysis. First of all, he provides a definition of this method, and then he examines the process of its development. Following this, he scrutinizes the history of the use of content analysis; and also the goals of applying this technique in scientific research. Other topics which are discussed in the present paper include talking over the benefits, limitation, and problems of applying this method; studying of the distinctions between content analysis and other research methods; different kinds of the method; content units in content analysis; the steps of putting this method into practice; assessing its reliability and validity; and finally the way of using computer in this method. .

تحلیل محتوا روشی برای دستیابی به ویژگی های مختلف پیام، دیدگاه ها و اندیشه های فرستنده پیام، علل صدور و آثار پیام است. درواقع، این روش برای تجزیه و تحلیل عینی و منتظم پیام های مختلفی که از طریق گوناگون مبادله می شوند، به کار می رود. نویسنده در نوشتار حاضر، نگاهی مروری به روش تحلیل محتوا دارد. وی نخست بعد از ارائه تعریفی از روش تحلیل محتوا، روند تکامل این روش را بررسی می نماید. سپس، تاریخچه استفاده از روش تحلیل محتوا و نیز هدف های بکارگیری این روش در پژوهش های علمی را مورد مداقه قرار می دهد. بیان مزایا، محدودیت ها، آسیب شناسی استفاده از این روش علمی، بررسی وجوه تمایز روش تحلیل محتوا با سایر روش های پژوهش، انواع آن، واحدهای محتوا در تحلیل محتوا، مراحل اجرای این روش، سنجش روایی و پایایی در آن و نهایتاً نحوه استفاده از رایانه در تحلیل محتوا، از دیگر مباحث مطرح در نوشتار حاضر می باشند.
