The book by ZaydIbn Ali (AS), which has been known among the Zaydis as theMusnad of Zaydis one of Shia ancient sources and belongs to the second century AH. The most important, and sometimes the only narrator, of ZaydIbn Ali’s (AS) hadiths is AbukhāledVāsetiAmruIbnKhāled. It seems that AmruIbnKhāled’s book was not quite well-known between peoplein the first centuries and at least till the third century. Since 4th century, famous rijal scholarsand great Imami hadith scholars have mentioned and referenced to his book a lot. According to the author of this article, it is necessary to examine AmruIbnKhāled’s hadiths in Imami primary sources and secondary sources, so that their dating demonstrates the process of this progress. In this regard, he, firstly, introduces AmruIBnKhāled’s character, and then explains Saduq and Najashi’s opinion about Khaled’s book. Finally, he talks aboutImami writers’ opinion about the book, and mentions AmruIbnKhāled’s character in Zaydy sources. .
